Edgar Allan
Poe try to convey us a sense of anguish and despair through the poem, whose
reason is the death of his beloved Eleonor.
Poe
represents these feelings in a black raven symbol of evil and bad omen,
something tragic, and makes us a feel as he felt.
The
Simpson´s representation is very original and gives a sense of comic-horror where
each of the elements are illustrated in a way that we understand what the poem
tries to tell us.
